Depending on Carnivals intentions it will also have a very positive effect on the entire North Coast and the DR as a whole should their plan be to allow passengers to fly-in / fly-out, thereby allowing passengers to embark at Maimon prior to cruises and/or disembark after cruises at their Miamon port. If this is the case passengers would be inclined to spend more time exploring this country before and/or after cruises.. If they treat Maimon purely as a one day excursion the impact will not be as significant for the region.
